Full Figured and Fabulous?
Full figured, voluptuous, ample, big, full framed, curvy, whatever you want to call them, these lovely women have a lot to offer and they want fashionable clothing options just as much as their smaller sized counterparts. Unfortunately the fashion industry can often leave full figured gals with few options that are comfortable and appealing. Finding new and even used clothing for larger sizes (say above size 20) can be a challenge. Finding clothes in larger sizes that look good is even harder.
The Plus Size Challenge
Let's face it.. it can be embarrassing to try on outfit after outfit and have the clothes not fit right or look as appealing as a potato sack. Plus size women want to look good and feel good about themselves and limited clothing options can feel like a slap in the face. Why can some women just walk in to a store and find something that will look good almost immediately when others can try on virtually everything in the store and not find something that compliments their shape? The fact is, most clothing designers are designing their clothes without plus size women in mind. Taking a dress or blouse designed for a thinner woman and simply making it bigger.. is a recipe for disaster.
